Transformations

Robynn:
Three months ago I started getting my rear in gear to lose all my baby weight. This was my third pregnancy and the heaviest I had ever been. When I first started, I struggled just running a half mile and could do about 10 push ups. Within the past 3 months, with a little bit of PiYo, running, weight lifting, and my daily dose of Shakeology, I have since maxed my Army PT test, run 5 miles with ease, lost 16 pounds, and have gained muscle. Persistence my friends! Don't give up, it's worth it in the end!

2 months ago I was tired, like, all-the-time tired. I had very little energy. Every morning, I would get the kids to school and then while my baby had her morning nap, I would nap. And sometimes when she went down for her afternoon nap, I would nap. I was depressed and I could barely function outside of what was basically required of me. I rationalized my behavior with the fact that I just had a baby and I was tired. But my baby was almost 1 and I wasn't feeling any less tired. I knew if I ate better and exercised I would feel better. I wanted to change, but I didn't know how to get from where I was to where I wanted to be. I felt so alone.

2 months ago I started to change. I learned about better eating habits and I changed. I started exercising, not every day, but it was better than nothing. Friends, I am happy. I have energy. I don't feel defeated. I have lost weight and inches! I've also gotten stronger!

This summer I made a promise to myself to get healthy. You've probably seen my occasional fitness posts, bc I know if I share, I will stay more accountable. Losing weight had been a huge struggle for me since having kids. And while I would not change that for a second, I also decided it was time to focus on my health too. I had been seeing my doctor and a nutritionist, and trying so hard to lose the weight. I was killing myself at the gym every day and not seeing progress. Then I saw my friend Stacy post an offer to be part of a challenge group using T25. This program turned my results around. In just 30 days I saw a HUGE difference. I had lost so many inches. Seeing the progress was enough for me to see it through the whole 65 days of the T25 program. During the last month, I also began using the 21 Day Fix, a program designed to help with portion control WITHOUT the calorie counting. This is when the weight started to melt. In just one summer I was able to lose over 20 inches combined, and just over 7 lbs. Yes, it takes dedication, yes it takes time, but it is SO worth it.

ME!:  These programs have done so much to help me get healthy, have more energy and start liking myself again!  You can read more about my journey in the about me section.

Michelle came to me 6 months pregnant, look how quickly she has bounced back!  She was able to workout every day until she had the baby, kept her nutrition in line with the 21 day fix, and now she is reaping the benefits!!!  I'm so proud of her!
